According to the Daily Monitor, Justice Naluzze Aisha Batala of the Inspectorate of Government inspected the 2.5km Nakaloke–Namagumba road in Northern City Division and found it incomplete and poorly built. Ombudsman Affairs director Savio Kakooza Ntensibe said only one of three required layers was laid and potholes appeared within six months. The project supervisor blamed the contractor and said only part of the allocated funds had been received, while the Town Clerk said funds were not fully released.
