Jinja City Security Committee cancels Busoga One Radio 'Endigito 2025' concert

According to the Daily Monitor, the Jinja City Security Committee, chaired by Richard Gulume Balyaino, told organisers that Busoga One Radio's annual festival would not go ahead, saying there was no guarantee that NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi would not attend, and citing security risks during the election period. The station's owner, NUP parliamentary candidate Paul Mwiru, said the event had earlier been cleared by the Inspector General of Police and the District Police Commander.
