Museveni commissions Russian-donated military equipment repair facility at Magamaga, Jinja

President Yoweri Museveni commissioned a military equipment repair facility at Magamaga Cantonment that ChimpReports said was donated by Russia and worth $53 million. It was part of a two-day programme with a Russian delegation led by Lt. Gen. Aleksandr Kshimovskii, which also included a training classroom at Kalama and marine equipment in Entebbe. Museveni called for local defence manufacturing with Russia and greater use of AI.
