Jinja magistrate grants bail to NUP candidate Muhammad Ssegirinya

Jinja Grade One Magistrate Anne Kyomuhangi granted Kawempe North NUP candidate Muhammad Ssegirinya non-cash bail of Shs1 million after he had spent four days on remand at Kirinya Prisons, ChimpReports reported. He faces charges of inciting violence and organising an unlawful assembly and was told to return to court on 15 December 2020; his lawyer also asked the court to order police to return his confiscated property.
