The Judiciary announced that the 2026 presidential election petition will be filed electronically through its Electronic Court Case Management Information System (ECCMIS), Nile Post reported. The announcement was made at the opening of a four-day Judicial Training Institute course for Supreme Court Justices in Jinja City, where Chief Justice Alphonse Owiny-Dollo spoke on the court's readiness for election petitions.
