Local Government Minister orders probe into alleged sale of public road in Masese II, Jinja City

Residents of Masese II told Minister for Local Government Raphael Magyezi at a Cities Alliance land-title event that a public access road had been sold to a private developer and fenced off. Jinja City Planner Charles Nampendho said the developer held a title reportedly issued in 1996, and the minister directed Resident City Commissioner Richard Gulume to investigate and report within a week.
