Man arrested over domestic violence found dead in Kebisoni police cell, Rukungiri

A 30-year-old man from Nyakagyeme sub-county, arrested over a domestic fight with his wife, died in a cell at Kebisoni police station. Kigezi regional police spokesperson Elly Maate said an officer found him hanging in the cell and that he had used his shirt to take his own life; Maate said the scene was visited by the DPC, OC CID and a magistrate before a postmortem.
