Masaka High Court dismisses petitioner's bid to compel EC to produce DR forms in Bukomansimbi North petition

Justice Joyce Kavuma of the High Court in Masaka dismissed an application by JEEMA candidate Hajji Muhammad Kateregga seeking to compel the Electoral Commission to produce declaration of results forms, the Daily Monitor reports. Kateregga is challenging the January 15 victory of NRM's Salim Kisekka in Bukomansimbi North, alleging violence, ballot stuffing and other irregularities. The court set the hearing for November 9 and ordered written submissions by October 23.
