Masaka High Court rejects Nalubega's bid to amend petition against Rakai Woman MP Kinyamatama

Justice Bernard Namanya of the High Court in Masaka dismissed Grace Nalubega's application to amend her election petition against Rakai District Woman MP Suubi Kinyamatama Juliet K, ruling that the changes would materially alter the petition after the mandatory 30-day filing period. The judge also found that the questions over the MP's identity and the bribery allegations were already pleaded in the main petition, which remains before the court.
