Minister orders arrest of Naiku Primary School head teacher over inflated enrolment, Mbale

Minister of Local Government Balaam Barugahara ordered the arrest of the head teacher of Naiku Primary School after his team's head count found 705 pupils against a reported enrolment of 1,352, according to ChimpReports. The inflated figures are believed to have been used to obtain more capitation grants; the minister said those implicated would be prosecuted.
