Mukono district suspends about 20 volunteers from Mukono General Hospital

According to The Independent, Mukono district stopped volunteers from taking part in any activities at Mukono General Hospital, citing limited space during Covid-19; about 20 volunteers were affected. Health workers at the hospital say the move has left them overwhelmed by patient numbers, and the district's Chief Administrative Officer, James Nkata, said recruitment of more staff was under way.
