According to ChimpReports, former Information Minister Jim Muhwezi, the NRM candidate for Rujumbura, launched his parliamentary campaign in Rweshama fishing village, Bwambara. Residents told him their livelihoods had suffered after the Fisheries Protection Unit confiscated their boats, and raised crop raids by wild animals, poor roads and a lack of technical schools.
