NRM's Mathias Mwesigwa Rwabugumi declared winner of Rubabo County seat, unseating PFF's Naboth Namanya

The Rukungiri District Electoral Commission returning officer declared NRM candidate Mathias Mwesigwa Rwabugumi winner of the Rubabo County parliamentary seat with 16,102 votes against 14,780 for incumbent Naboth Namanya of the PFF, Uganda Radio Network reported. Independent Bob Rugonde came third with 13,545 votes.
