NUP candidate petitions Electoral Commission to disqualify NRM rival in Mutuba-Musisi Gardens Cell, Masaka City

NUP candidate Mathias Bwanika petitioned the Electoral Commission to disqualify NRM candidate Deogratias Mulindwa from the village chairperson race in Mutuba-Musisi Gardens Cell, Katwe Ward, arguing that Mulindwa already holds elected office as a division councillor. Mulindwa said he was unaware of any legal bar. The Masaka City Returning Officer confirmed receiving the petition and said a decision would be made within the week.
