NUP flag bearer for Bukoto Central finds another party member nominated in his place in Masaka

NUP's Alex Kalinzi Ntamu arrived at Masaka District headquarters in Kyanamukkaka to find that Jamil Kivumbi, from whom the party had withdrawn the ticket, had already been nominated for Bukoto Central. Ntamu accused EC officials of 'betrayal' and said he would ask the party to discipline the registrar who stamped Kivumbi's papers, according to the Daily Monitor.
