NUP nominees in Nyendo/Mukungwe allege irregularities in local council nominations

NUP aspirants in Nyendo/Mukungwe Municipality raised complaints during local council nominations, according to the Daily Monitor. Ward aspirant Esther Mutesi said the deputy mayor had been nominated for her position before she reached the EC offices, and mayoral flag bearer Ronald Kasekende accused the party registrar of obstructing his nomination by refusing to stamp his documents.
