PFF's Ingrid Turinawe rejects Rukungiri Municipality result, alleges over-voting and intimidation

At a press briefing at her home in Rukungiri Municipality, PFF candidate Ingrid Kamateneti Turinawe said she did not recognise Henry Tumukunde's win and demanded scrutiny of the results. She alleged that at Rukungiri Taxi Park polling station 250 votes were cast against 209 registered voters, and accused Tumukunde of intimidation, vote buying and violence against her campaign; the Daily Monitor said Tumukunde had not yet commented.
