According to a Kampala Metropolitan Police statement reported by ChimpReports, a joint task force carried out operations at what police called crime hotspots in Kampala's Central Business District, arresting 136 suspects. Police said the suspects were screened and charged with offences linked to possession of suspected narcotics and are held at various police stations.
