Police block ANT presidential candidate Mugisha Muntu's campaign rally in Kamwenge

Police stopped Alliance for National Transformation presidential candidate Mugisha Muntu from holding a campaign rally in Kamwenge after his team moved to an alternative venue about 100 metres away because rain had made the agreed site inaccessible, according to ChimpReports. In a statement, Muntu said he chose to withdraw to avoid endangering supporters, and accused police of trying to provoke chaos and of intimidating a radio station his campaign had booked.
