Returning officer declares Frank Tumwebaze unopposed MP for Kibale East County, Kamwenge

According to ChimpReports, the Kamwenge returning officer, George William Magezi, informed the Electoral Commission chairperson in a letter dated 19 November that Frank Tumwebaze had been declared duly elected MP for Kibale East County after his two rivals withdrew. The returning officer said the two withdrew on 15 and 16 October, and that the declaration takes effect from 14 January 2021.
