Rwabugumi declared NRM flag bearer in Rubabo County repeat party election, Rukungiri

Mwesigwa Mathias Rwabugumi was declared the NRM flag bearer for Rubabo County after a repeat party vote in six villages, according to NTV Uganda. The Rukungiri district NRM elections officer announced that Rwabugumi won 10,736 votes against 10,603 for Alex Bob Rugonde, who had petitioned against the original result.
