According to the Daily Monitor, security forces killed nine suspected attackers in Kasese District, four at the Kasese police barracks and five in Rugendabara, during coordinated early-morning attacks. Kasese RDC Lt Joe Walusimbi said the attackers torched one uniport at the police barracks, that one police constable was injured at Rugendabara and five others in Kasese Town, and that 30 suspects had been arrested.
Part of Coordinated armed attacks on police, army and school sites in the Rwenzori sub-region (Kasese, Bundibugyo, Fort Portal),. Its victims are counted once, in that overall toll.
