Vehicle carrying ballot boxes rammed into trench at Mpoma Satellite Barracks, four EC officials injured

A vehicle hired by the Electoral Commission to carry ballot boxes from Kalagala polling station was knocked into a trench by another vehicle at Mpoma Satellite Barracks. Mukono Resident District Commissioner Fatuma Ndisaba said rival supporters wrongly believed the vehicle belonged to an opposing camp, that four EC officials suffered fractured legs, and that investigations were ongoing.
