Electoral Commission clears 50 parliamentary candidates for seven seats in Tororo

According to Nile Post, the Electoral Commission cleared 50 candidates for Tororo District's seven parliamentary seats at the close of the two-day nomination exercise. Nominees included incumbent MP Jacob Oboth Oboth in West Budama Central and incumbent Woman MP Sarah Achieng Opendi, who faces eight challengers. The district Returning Officer warned candidates against gathering large crowds.
