IGG orders arrest of three Tororo General Hospital staff over alleged corruption and negligence

According to the Daily Monitor, Inspector General of Government Lady Justice Aisha Naluzze Batala ordered the arrest of three Tororo General Hospital staff, including the senior hospital administrator, to aid investigations into alleged corruption and negligence. The Inspectorate said a spot check found patients being charged for supposedly free operations and sent to buy drugs outside despite stock in hospital stores, and a mortuary attendant reportedly conducting post-mortems without qualifications.
