Parliamentary candidates' campaign posters defaced in Tororo Municipality

Posters of independent candidate Shyam Tanna were torn along the stretch from Tororo Roundabout towards the Mbale–Tororo Road, according to the Nile Post. Tanna said the defacement has continued for weeks since he launched his campaign and blamed political opponents. Bukedi South police spokesperson Moses Mugwe said several candidates, including incumbent MP Apollo Yeri Ofwono, had filed complaints and that investigations were ongoing.
