The Daily Monitor reports that police shot dead two people and injured two others at Kawunga Central Ward, Kyamulibwa Sub-county, on the eve of polling. Southern region police spokesperson Twaha Kasirye said the two men were supporters of Hellen Nakeeya, NRM candidate for Kalungu District Woman MP, travelling in a Toyota Hiace.
