River Malaba floods villages in Malaba Town Council, Tororo, affecting over 50 families

According to the Daily Monitor, River Malaba burst its banks in the early hours of Sunday, flooding cells in Asinge and Akolodongo wards of Malaba Town Council and washing away crops, livestock and household property of more than 50 families. The town clerk said no deaths were reported and that a team was assessing the damage to seek support from the Office of the Prime Minister.
