Tororo Chief Magistrate's Court orders recount in Tororo district Woman MP race

According to the Daily Monitor, the Chief Magistrate's Court in Tororo ordered a vote recount for the Tororo district Woman MP seat after NRM candidate Sarah Achieng Opendi disputed the 15 January result. The Electoral Commission results had independent candidate Angella Akoth ahead by 35 votes; Opendi's petition alleges numerical errors at one polling station and results left out from 10 others.
