Tororo Municipal Council gives street vendors one week to vacate streets

Tororo's municipal town clerk announced that street vendors, kiosk operators and mobile money agents on road reserves and walkways must move to formal markets within one week, the Daily Monitor reports. He said the vending had caused congestion, accidents and revenue losses, and warned that those who resist after the deadline would face the law.
